About The Artist

REALISTIC ABSTRACT

Tim Cook, a native of Michigan is a self taught artist and has been painting for over 20 years. He uses oil on canvess as his medium. Tim believes everyone should be able to enjoy art in their own home at an affordable price and his prices reflect that.

Tim's studio is in Cheboygan Michigan and he specializes in the local landacapes which include lakeshores and lighthouses. Tim also paints a varity of landscapes from mountains to meadows.

Tim calls his art "Realistic Abstract". He captures the scene with vibrant colors but it is not a copy. He has always said "If you want a photo take it, if you want a picture paint it."
